Iranian forces launched dozens of missiles toward Israel on Sunday morning, following a U.S. attack on three nuclear sites in Iran.

According to the Israeli emergency service Magen David Adom, its teams rushed to 10 sites early Sunday as a result of the Iranian strikes.

Arab media reported that the missiles targeted locations in Tel Aviv and Haifa, and sirens were heard in Haifa after the missiles landed.

Preliminary estimates suggest that the Iranian missile salvo consisted of about 40 missiles. Hebrew media outlets reported sounds of explosions in both Haifa and Tel Aviv.

An Israeli army spokesperson confirmed the detection of missile launches from Iran toward Israeli territory, noting that air defense systems are currently working to intercept the missiles.
