A source in the Iraqi Foreign Ministry reported on Thursday that all Iraqi diplomats and employees in Iran have been evacuated due to the military escalation in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Tel Aviv.

The sources stated, "A ministerial order was issued by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry to recall all diplomats and staff from the Iraqi embassy and consulates in Iran to ensure their safety amid the intensifying mutual attacks between Iran and Israel.

They added that "the embassy and consulates evacuated their staff, leaving only two or three individuals to maintain contact with the Iraqi community in Iranian cities."
