U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Friday morning that American forces did not participate in the military operation launched by Israel against Iran.

In remarks to Fox News, Trump said, "We are waiting for Iran's response and will defend Israel if necessary."

He added, "In recent weeks, we have strengthened Israel's stockpile of interceptor missiles," further stating, "Many Iranian leaders will not be seen again."

Trump also noted, "We were briefed in advance on the Israeli attacks, and there were no surprises," emphasizing that "the U.S. military did not participate in any way in the airstrikes on Iran and will remain uninvolved."

Meanwhile, Israel's public broadcasting authority announced that 10 nuclear sites in Iran had been struck, reporting that more than 10 nuclear scientists were assassinated and over 300 targets were hit across Iran.
