The agency reported that Pezeshkian made the call on Thursday afternoon, congratulating the Saudi Crown Prince on Eid al-Adha and expressing deep appreciation for the Saudi government's efforts in organizing the grand Hajj conference and providing suitable conditions for pilgrims, especially those from the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Pezeshkian reaffirmed Iran's commitment to expanding friendly and brotherly relations based on religious principles and good neighborliness with all Islamic countries, particularly Saudi Arabia. He emphasized Iran's determination to move forward with strengthening ties, deepening cooperation in all fields, achieving common interests for the Islamic nation, and ensuring peace, security, and prosperity for Muslim communities.

The Iranian president also thanked the Saudi government for hosting pilgrims and its valuable efforts in managing Hajj affairs, extending warm greetings to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

During the call, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed gratitude for Pezeshkian's congratulatory message and reciprocated Eid al-Adha greetings, wishing prosperity and blessings for the Islamic nation, especially the people of Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Bin Salman endorsed Pezeshkian's views on the importance of unity in the Islamic world and described the steps taken to strengthen relations between the two countries as significant and valuable.
