On Thursday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that a nuclear agreement with the United States must include the lifting of all sanctions and a guarantee of Iran’s right to enrich uranium.

Araghchi’s Statement

Speaking to media outlets, Araghchi remarked:

"The media continues to speculate about an imminent deal between Iran and the U.S. I am not certain that we have reached that stage yet."

He added:

"Iran sincerely seeks a diplomatic solution that ensures the interests of all parties. However, this requires an agreement that eliminates all sanctions and guarantees Iran’s nuclear rights, including enrichment."

Iranian Foreign Ministry Response

Earlier, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baqai denied a Reuters report suggesting that Tehran might suspend uranium enrichment for a year.

Baqai emphasized that Iran’s commitment to enrichment is "undisputable."

He dismissed the claim as "one of the same media fabrications that have repeatedly been rejected and proven false."

Additionally, Baqai stated:

"Speculations about potential aspects of any nuclear agreement are merely media interpretations published with various motives. None of them are accurate."
