On Thursday morning, Dr. Rami Joseph Agajan, head of the Endowment Office for Christian, Yazidi, and Mandaean religions, conducted an official visit to the Armenian Catholic Diocese in Baghdad, where he met with Bishop Mar Nerses Joseph, head of the community in Iraq.

During the meeting, discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between the Endowment Office and the Armenian Catholic community, reviewing its current status, and addressing challenges, particularly in the current circumstances, while exploring ways to support religious and social initiatives.

Dr. Agajan emphasized the importance of religious communities in reinforcing values of peace and coexistence, praising Bishop Mar Nerses Joseph’s efforts in strengthening national harmony and promoting a culture of dialogue and tolerance.
