Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al-Sudani met with President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid on Tuesday to discuss key issues from the 34th Arab Summit in Baghdad, including the resolutions and recommendations issued and the efforts needed for their implementation to achieve security and stability in the region.

The meeting underscored the importance of further efforts to enhance Iraq’s role in the region, with a focus on unifying the Arab stance on key regional and global issues to solidify the foundations of peace at both the regional and international levels.

Additionally, the leaders praised the efforts made by all parties that contributed to the successful outcome of the summit.

Discussions also covered regional and international developments and Iraq’s position on various issues, as well as ongoing efforts to strengthen Iraq’s role in the region. The leaders reviewed the country’s domestic situation, emphasizing the importance of maintaining stability, advancing development and service sectors, and meeting the aspirations of the Iraqi people.
