Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein on Wednesday called on the Azerbaijani government to resume flights between the two countries and open a consulate in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.

The request was made during a joint press conference between Hussein and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, who is currently on an official visit to Baghdad.
