Iraq secured the 109th position globally and 8th place among Arab countries in terms of income and wealth equality for the year 2025.

According to a report by CEO World Magazine, income and wealth equality across nations is measured based on three main factors: income, consumption, and wealth.

The report stated that Iraq ranked 109th out of 191 countries, achieving 54.41 points out of 100, making it the 8th most equal Arab nation in terms of income and wealth distribution.

Global Rankings

- Monaco ranked first worldwide with 88.93 points.

Liechtenstein followed with 88.43 points.

- Luxembourg placed third with 88.38 points.

- Ireland ranked fourth with 88.15 points.

- Switzerland came fifth, scoring 88.12 points.

Arab Rankings

- Qatar ranked first in the Arab world and 10th globally, scoring 87.57 points.

- UAE followed with 84.3 points.

- Saudi Arabia placed third with 79.51 points.

- Kuwait secured fourth place, achieving 77.82 points.

- Bahrain ranked fifth with 76.9 points.

- Oman came sixth with 71.78 points.

- Libya followed in seventh place with 56.59 points.

- Iraq ranked eighth, scoring 54.41 points.

- Algeria came ninth, achieving 53.64 points.

- Jordan rounded out the top 10, scoring 50.91 points.

At the bottom of the global rankings, Burundi recorded 32.19 points, followed closely by Syria with 32.2 points.
