Joint Naval Exercise Brings Together Iraq the U.S. the UK and Kuwait.

The Umm Qasr Naval Base Command announced the execution of a search-and-rescue joint exercise with naval forces from the United States, Britain, and Kuwait.

In a statement, the Command declared, "Following the directives of the higher authorities and the Commander of the Naval Force, Vice Admiral Mazen Abdul Wahid Kabiyan, and under the supervision of the Commander of Umm Qasr Naval Base, a joint exercise was conducted in international waters between Iraq and friendly forces, including the U.S., British, and Kuwaiti navies."

The statement elaborated, "Participating on the Iraqi side was a patrol boat from the Second Patrol Boat Battalion of the 1212th Brigade, along with patrol boats from the Kuwaiti, American, and British sides." It emphasized that the joint exercise aimed to enhance skills and exchange expertise among the participating parties.

The statement added, "At the conclusion of the exercise, participants praised the performance, execution, and capabilities of the Iraqi Navy, as well as the readiness and individual skills of the heroes of the Iraqi Naval Force Command in safeguarding Iraqi waters."
