Despite the ceasefire agreement in effect since November 27, 2024, Israel continues to carry out near-daily strikes on southern and eastern Lebanon, claiming to target Hezbollah positions.

The Ministry of Health reported that one person was killed and another injured as a result of one of the airstrikes. An Israeli drone also launched two missiles targeting a house in the southern town of Houla, resulting in one fatality, while multiple airstrikes were carried out in the town of Arnoun.

Simultaneously, an explosion occurred on the Briaq-Qossayba road in the Nabatieh district in southern Lebanon. The blast caused a Lebanese Army vehicle loaded with ammunition left over from the war between Israel and Hezbollah to catch fire. The exact cause of the explosion remains unclear, whether it was due to an Israeli airstrike or a technical malfunction.

The Civil Defense reported that the explosion resulted in four deaths (three soldiers and one civilian) and left four others injured so far.
