Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that enemies have assassinated some of the country's finest scientists to prevent the Islamic Republic from advancing, according to Iranian media.

Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran does not seek to possess nuclear weapons, saying, "We have always been victims of terrorism, yet there are those who aim to accuse us of practicing it. We do not seek war and will not attack any country, but we will respond to any aggression with strength. The more intense the strikes and threats, the stronger and more resilient we will become. We fear no threat."

He continued, "We stand firm and will not compromise on anything. We will defend our country with all our might. Iran will not become a colony for foreigners."

Pezeshkian added, "We want peace and tranquility. Those imposing sanctions should lift them because we will continue our path without issues and resolve all problems through dialogue."

The Iranian president also mentioned that the foreign minister would travel to Oman on Saturday to conduct indirect talks with the United States.
