U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday called on companies to immediately relocate to the United States to avoid being subjected to tariffs, just hours after new duties came into effect.

Through his social media platform "Truth Social," Trump wrote, "This is a great time to move your companies to the United States of America, like Apple and other companies are doing in record numbers," promising that this would come with "zero tariffs and no environmental delays."

He continued, "Don't wait; do it now."

It is worth noting that the tariffs imposed by President Trump on products from dozens of countries came into effect today, Wednesday, including a 104% tariff on Chinese goods.
