Palestinian sources reported early Thursday that Abdul Latif Al-Qanoua, the spokesperson for Hamas, was killed in an Israeli strike targeting his displacement tent in Jabalia Al-Balad, northern Gaza.

The Palestinian Information Center confirmed Al-Qanoua's death due to the strike, while Hamas has not yet issued an official statement on his passing.

Earlier, Hamas announced the death of senior leader Ismail Barhoum, a member of the political bureau in Gaza, following an Israeli strike on a section of Nasser Medical Hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, where he was receiving treatment.

Additionally, political bureau member Salah Al-Bardawil and his wife were killed in an Israeli strike targeting their tent in the Mawasi Khan Younis area the day before, according to a statement from Hamas.

According to the latest statistics from the Gaza Ministry of Health, Israeli military operations since the resumption of war on March 18 have resulted in 830 deaths and 1,787 injuries. This brings the total casualties since October 7, 2023, to 50,183 deaths and 113,828 injuries.

On the ground, the Israeli army continued its operations, demolishing several homes near Umm Al-Nasr village in northern Gaza and securing control over 50% of the Salah Al-Din "Netzarim" axis in central Gaza.
