The Houthi group announced that it targeted Ben Gurion Airport in the Jaffa area with a ballistic missile, vowing to continue its attacks until the siege on Gaza is lifted.
A statement issued by the Houthi military spokesperson, Yahya Saree, claimed that the group targeted Ben Gurion Airport in the occupied Jaffa area with a hypersonic ballistic missile named Palestine-2, asserting that the operation successfully achieved its goal.
Earlier, the Israeli army announced that its air defenses intercepted a missile launched from Yemen before it entered Israeli airspace.
The Houthi statement warned all airlines that Ben Gurion Airport is no longer safe for air navigation. It also mentioned that their missile and naval forces targeted warships in the Red Sea, including the U.S. aircraft carrier "USS Harry Truman" and its accompanying vessels.
Additionally, the statement confirmed that what it referred to as the "American enemy" carried out airstrikes on several Yemeni governorates.
