U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Thursday that his discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky were very positive.

According to exclusive remarks reported by Breitbart, Trump said his goal is to "bring Russia and Ukraine closer together... and reduce U.S. spending on supporting Kyiv.

Trump also pointed out that former President Joe Biden "donated money to Ukraine, while Europe provided support to Kyiv in the form of loans.

Additionally, the U.S. President mentioned that Washington is currently working on "reaching an agreement with Ukraine regarding rare minerals to recover our funds.
