The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the reaching of a "historic peace agreement" between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
In a statement today, the ministry described the agreement as a significant step toward enhancing security and stability in the Caucasus region, expressing hope that it will contribute to building a better future for both peoples.
The ministry also commended the diplomatic efforts that played a role in achieving this "important accomplishment" and expressed optimism that this agreement will mark the beginning of a new era of friendly relations and fruitful cooperation between the two nations, promoting opportunities for peaceful coexistence and sustainable development in the region.
