Houthis claim to repel intense U.S. airstrikes and target aircraft carriers in the Red Sea.

The Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) announced on Sunday that U.S. forces carried out more than 47 airstrikes targeting various areas in Yemen, including the provinces of Sanaa, Saada, Al-Bayda, Hajjah, Dhamar, Marib, and Al-Jawf.

The movement confirmed that the airstrikes resulted in dozens of casualties, including deaths and injuries, noting that the toll is still preliminary, with reports of massacres against civilians.

In response to the attack, the Houthis claimed to have conducted a significant military operation targeting the U.S. aircraft carrier "USS Harry Truman" and several accompanying warships in the northern Red Sea. The operation reportedly involved the launch of 18 ballistic and cruise missiles, along with a drone, in a coordinated attack executed by their missile forces, air force, and naval units.

The Houthis reiterated their commitment to targeting all U.S. warships in the Red and Arabian Seas, emphasizing their intent to enforce a naval blockade on Israeli ships until humanitarian aid is delivered to Gaza.
