Alina Habba, an aide to former U.S. President Donald Trump, revealed details about the "fake Oval Office" used by President Joe Biden on several occasions for photo ops.
Habba, a lawyer close to Trump, shared a video on the platform "X" showcasing the "fake" room used during Biden's tenure. The room was equipped with advanced technology, including modern lighting, screens, and teleprompters, according to "The Post."
In the video, Habba commented, "We are here in Biden's fake Oval Office." Despite calling it the Oval Office, the decor resembled an ordinary room in the White House rather than the iconic circular office where major presidential events are held.
Habba sat behind a dark wooden desk with a backdrop featuring an American flag and a blue-and-white banner displaying an image of the White House's north facade. She remarked, "Now I understand the reason; now I get it," before asking the person behind the camera to pan around and show more details.
After the tour, the camera returned to Habba, who sarcastically commented on Biden's administration, saying, "All I can say is that the previous administration was a complete failure."
This "fake" room was set up inside a hall in the South Court Auditorium of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, located across from the White House. It was equipped with lights, teleprompters, cameras, and theater-like seating.
The room also featured fake windows and a digital screen displaying the White House Rose Garden in full bloom.
It is noted that Biden used this "fake" White House setup on several occasions, most notably when he received the COVID-19 vaccine during the peak of the country's vaccination campaign.
The room shown in Habba's video appears similar to the one Biden used during a virtual meeting with leaders of the Major Economies Forum on Energy and Climate in June 2022.
