U.S. President Donald Trump delivered a lengthy speech in Congress, lasting about an hour and 40 minutes, making it the longest in 61 years.

According to the American Presidency Project at the University of California, Santa Barbara, this speech is the longest in a joint session of Congress since at least 1964.

On Wednesday, Trump addressed a joint session of Congress for the first time since returning to office, telling lawmakers that "America is back" while praising a series of actions he took during the first six weeks of his second term.

In his speech, the U.S. President highlighted the executive orders he issued and explained his vision for how Congress should begin implementing his comprehensive legislative agenda.

He also praised the work of Elon Musk and the Government Efficiency Department team for the drastic cuts they implemented across the executive branch.
