Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani issued four directives on Monday during his visit to the headquarters of the National Pension Authority.
According to his media office's statement, the Prime Minister directed the following:
- Release the fifth batch of retirement salaries for former Iraqi army personnel before Eid al-Fitr and complete the sixth batch immediately afterward to close this file permanently.
- Disburse financial differences for injured security forces.
- Form a committee to count the remaining 1991 war prisoners and complete their retirement procedures.
- Send a committee from the Pension Authority and the Martyrs Foundation to Anbar to resolve the file of retired victims of terrorism in Anbar Province, after conducting a review and disbursing the differences for retired victims of terrorism in the province who have passed the review process, similar to other provinces.
