The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump has urged Iraq to resume oil exports from the Kurdistan region, considering that such a move could help lower oil prices.
Washington also believes that Kurdish oil sales could contribute to reducing crude prices and offsetting the decline in Iranian supplies.
