An official welcoming ceremony for Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani took place in the Czech capital, Prague, on Thursday. He was received by Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala.

The ceremony included the playing of the national anthems of both Iraq and the Czech Republic, an honor guard inspection, and the taking of commemorative photos by both sides.

During his visit, Mr. Al-Sudani will hold talks with the Czech Prime Minister, meet with the President of the Czech Republic, sign memoranda of understanding in various fields, and hold a series of meetings with Czech companies. He will also meet with the Iraqi community in the Czech Republic.
