President of Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, visited the headquarters of the Babylon Movement today, where he was received by the Secretary-General of the movement, Mr. Rayan Al-Kildani, along with several prominent leaders of the movement.

The president was accompanied by a high-level delegation of his advisors and officials from the presidential office. During the meeting, they discussed several important national issues, including the rights of various components in Iraq, their role in the political process and society, and the importance of promoting peaceful coexistence among different Iraqi components. They also addressed the issue of salaries in the Kurdistan Region, emphasizing the necessity of not politicizing citizens' rights in the region and ensuring their fair distribution.

President Rashid emphasized the importance of pluralism and brotherhood among the various Iraqi components, reiterating the state's commitment to protecting the rights of all citizens and enhancing their participation in building Iraq. He also stressed the need to find fair and sustainable solutions to pending issues to ensure stability and strengthen national unity.

Mr. Rayan Al-Kildani welcomed the visit, considering it a positive step towards enhancing cooperation between state institutions and political forces. He reaffirmed the movement's commitment to working within national frameworks to support Iraq's unity and stability, defend the rights of components, and ensure their active participation in political and social life.

At the end of the meeting, President Rashid praised the role of the Babylon Movement in the political process, appreciating its national positions in bringing viewpoints closer and the role of Al-Kildani in stabilizing and sustaining Nineveh Governorate.
