Today: Fourth Batch of Prisoner and Hostage Exchange Between Hamas and Israel.

Today, Saturday, the fourth batch of the prisoner and hostage exchange process between Hamas and Israel is expected to take place under the Gaza ceasefire agreement.

Israel announced that it received a list of three detainees in Gaza, who are scheduled to be released today.

In return, the Palestinian Prisoners Club announced the names of the fourth batch of prisoners to be released today, totaling 183 detainees, including 111 from Gaza, who were arrested after October 7.

The three Israelis to be exchanged today are Yarden Bibas, Keith Segal, who holds both American and Israeli citizenship, and Ofer Calderon, who holds both French and Israeli citizenship.

On Thursday, Hamas released three Israeli detainees and five Thai nationals, while Israel released 110 Palestinian prisoners.

Today, a group of Palestinians is expected to cross from Gaza to Egypt through the recently reopened Rafah crossing.

So far, 15 out of 33 detainees scheduled for release in the first phase of the ceasefire have been freed in exchange for 400 Palestinian prisoners.

Negotiations are set to begin by Tuesday regarding agreements for the release of more than 60 detainees and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza in the second phase of the agreement.

The first phase of the six-week ceasefire agreement, brokered by Egyptian and Qatari mediators with U.S. support, has remained on track despite several incidents that led each side to accuse the other of violating the agreement.
