UN Representative: Pure Soil of Iraq Rejects Sectarian Projects.

The Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General in Iraq, Mohammed Al-Hassan, stated on Friday that Iraq's pure soil rejects sectarian projects.

In his speech, Al-Hassan said, "Iraq is for everyone, and its pure soil rejects sectarian, factional, and exclusionary projects.

He added that "any sectarian or factional projects have no future in Iraq," noting that "citizens are now eager for leaders who prioritize improving the living standards of the people, such as security, a dignified free life, and the development of education, health, transportation, and other sectors.

Al-Hassan emphasized that "Iraq is approaching an important constitutional milestone, which is the elections. We have confidence in the Iraqi people's ability to discern and exercise their constitutional right peacefully and responsibly by choosing leaders who fulfill their aspirations and hopes, away from sectarianism and exclusionary projects.

He further stated, "It is time for the people of this nation, with their diverse affiliations, to enjoy the blessings of this country," pointing out that "sectarian and fear-mongering projects are a thing of the past and have ended in the future.
