Syrian sources confirmed on Wednesday that military factions have agreed to appoint Ahmed Al-Sharaa as the head of the transitional phase.

According to Syrian media, Al-Sharaa, the head of the new Syrian administration, stated that victory is a responsibility in itself, as the task of the victors is heavy, and their responsibility is great. He noted that the common perception of war is destruction and bloodshed, but Syria's victory was achieved with mercy and justice.

Al-Sharaa emphasized that they broke the chains with God's help, liberated the oppressed, and shook off the dust of humiliation and disgrace from Damascus, resulting in a great victory. He affirmed that just as they were determined to liberate Syria in the past, it is now their duty to be determined to build and develop it.
