Reuters reported on Wednesday that 18 people were killed in a plane crash in Unity State, South Sudan.

The South Sudanese Ministry of Information stated that the plane crashed shortly after taking off from an airport in South Sudan.

Reports indicated that the plane, which had 21 passengers and crew on board, crashed shortly after takeoff, resulting in the deaths of 18 people and injuring 3 others.
