On Thursday, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani met with several members of the Iraqi community in the United Kingdom at his residence in London as part of his official visit.

Al-Sudani listened to the concerns, needs, and challenges faced by the community members and directed steps and measures to address them.

He affirmed the government's support and care for Iraqi communities worldwide, emphasizing that they represent the face of Iraq. He stressed the importance of maintaining communication with them and benefiting from their skills and capabilities, especially given Iraq's current developmental, urban, and economic renaissance.

The attending community members expressed their appreciation for Al-Sudani's keenness to meet with Iraqi communities during his foreign visits. They highlighted the importance of opening the Iraqi Cultural Center in London and the government's interest in enhancing communication and meeting the needs of expatriate Iraqis.
