Russian President Vladimir Putin stated on Thursday that his country seeks to end the conflict with Ukraine through mediation by Slovakia.

However, Putin did not hesitate to use threatening language, brandishing the "Orishnik" super missile during the war if necessary.

President Putin revealed the "Orishnik," a weapon capable of carrying nuclear warheads, last month after using it to strike the city of Dnipro in central Ukraine, escalating tensions in the nearly three-year-long conflict.

Putin said, "Russia may use Orishnik again, if necessary, but it is not in a hurry." He added, "If it is necessary to use more powerful medium-range weapons, we will do so.

Putin disclosed the mediator country, Slovakia, which is located west of Ukraine and south of Poland. The Russian president said on Thursday, "Slovakia is ready to host talks between Russia and Ukraine.

On the other hand, Putin revealed Russia's readiness to supply gas through Ukraine to any counterparty, but "this is impossible due to a lawsuit from Kyiv.

He confirmed, "It is impossible to sign a gas transit deal with Ukraine a few days before the new year.

He emphasized that Ukraine is punishing Europe by preventing the delivery of gas from Russia to other countries through its territory.
