Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Russia launched dozens of missiles and drones towards the Ukrainian power grid on Wednesday morning, as the country celebrated Christmas.

Zelensky said that Russian President Vladimir "Putin deliberately chose Christmas to launch the attack. What could be more inhumane than that? More than 70 missiles, including ballistic missiles, and over 100 attack drones. The target was our energy system.
