Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received Bafel Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, on Saturday.

During the meeting, they discussed the overall situation in the country and the importance of political forces supporting the government's efforts to implement its program objectives and achieve comprehensive development to improve service and economic conditions.

The meeting also included discussions on shared visions regarding various national issues and the necessity of supporting dialogues among national forces in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq to form the regional government, following the successful parliamentary elections in October. They emphasized enhancing cooperation and coordination between the federal government and the new regional government on various security, political, and developmental issues.
