Netanyahu Discusses Gaza Ceasefire Deal and Syrian Developments with Trump.

In the context of negotiations to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, the Israeli newspaper "Haaretz" reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President-elect Donald Trump discussed the possibilities of reaching an agreement before Trump takes office in January.

Haaretz quoted an Israeli source familiar with the matter, stating that the conversation between Trump and Netanyahu also covered regional developments, particularly following the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime.

This news coincides with reports that Adam Boehler, Trump's advisor on hostages and missing persons, will arrive in Israel in the coming days to hold meetings aimed at reaching an agreement, according to the Israeli newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth.

The newspaper added that Boehler's visit will be private and secret, with intensive meetings and consultations with the Israeli government regarding the Gaza ceasefire and the release of hostages.

The newspaper also noted that Boehler is scheduled to meet with Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz next Monday, with the details and agenda of the visit kept confidential.

It is worth mentioning that Boehler served as Trump's special envoy during the Abraham Accords negotiations and was recently appointed as "Special Presidential Envoy for American Hostages" after Trump's reelection.

In a statement about Boehler's appointment, Trump said, "Adam knows that there is no one stronger than the United States of America. Adam will work tirelessly to bring our great American citizens back home.
