On Saturday, 8 professionals joined the Iraqi national football team in their camp in Doha, Qatar, in preparation for the 26th Gulf Cup scheduled to be held in Kuwait next week.

The team's media coordinator, Mohammed Emad, declared that "8 professionals joined the Iraqi national team today, coming from their clubs to join the team's training camp in Qatar.

Emad added that the professionals are Rebin Sulaka, Kamil Saad, Mohanad Jaaz, Ahmed Yasin, Lucas Shlemon, Amin Al-Hamawi, Adam Talib, and Youssef Amin. He explained that the team's delegation, including players from the Iraqi Stars League, arrived in Qatar today to begin training in preparation for the Gulf Cup in Kuwait, set to start on the 21st of this month.

The squad called up by Casas to represent Iraq in the 26th Gulf Cup in Kuwait consists of 27 players: Jalal Hassan, Mohammed Hassan, Kamil Saad, Manaf Younis, Ali Adnan, Rebin Sulaka, Adam Talib, Ali Faez, Mirhas Doski, Mohanad Jaaz, Mustafa Saadoun, Helo Faeq, Amir Al-Amari, Saad Abdul-Amir, Lucas Shlemon, Amjad Attwan, Ahmed Yasin, Ali Jassim, Peter Korkis, Youssef Amin, Amin Al-Hamawi, Marco Faraj, Ali Youssef, Mohanad Ali, Ayman Hussein, Ibrahim Bayesh, and Zidan Iqbal.
