Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani held phone talks today, Thursday, with the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, focusing on regional developments and the implications of events in Syria.
Both sides emphasized the importance of Arab coordination in supporting the unity, safety, and sovereignty of Syrian territories, maintaining civil peace, respecting the free choices of Syrians, and continuing joint efforts to achieve security and stability.
The call also reaffirmed the continuation of consultations on regional developments and discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples.
