Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani confirmed today, Thursday, that the espionage and wiretapping case is the "lie of the century.

During his hosting in parliament at his request, the Prime Minister said, "The espionage and wiretapping case and the issues raised accusing the government in an unethical manner have no basis, and I can firmly say it is the lie of the century.

He added, "The case is before the judiciary, and we respect our independent, fair, and just judiciary and its decision to investigate the employee, and we await the results." He clarified, "But based on the available data, there is no such matter, and the council's oversight role remains in questioning any official.
