In this context, the Iraqi Prime Minister stressed that Iraq has suffered from terrorism in the past due to extremist groups controlling areas in Syria, warning against repeating this experience, which could harm the security and stability of Iraq and the region as a whole. He also emphasized the need to respect Syria's territorial integrity and sovereignty, noting that Iraq will continue to make every possible effort to maintain its security and that of Syria simultaneously.

In his conversation with the Turkish President, Al-Sudani pointed out that the current situation in Syria clearly benefits the Zionist entity, which has directed military strikes at Syrian army positions, allowing terrorist groups to gain control of more territories in Syria. He also noted that these terrorist organizations have shown no real support for the Palestinian cause or condemnation of the Zionist aggression on Gaza, reflecting their double standards and lack of alignment with the interests of the Islamic nation.
