The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced on Monday the killing of 23 members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party in airstrikes carried out in the Kurdistan region. The ministry clarified in a statement that Turkish fighter jets targeted the party's positions in several areas of the Kurdistan region, resulting in the death of 23 members.
The ministry confirmed the Turkish army's determination to continue its operations against the Kurdistan Workers' Party, which uses the Qandil Mountains in northern Iraq as a base and launches attacks targeting the Turkish interior from there.
