The Communications and Media Commission announced today, Saturday, the suspension of MBC's operations in Iraq.

A statement from the authority received by "Al-Aawla" mentioned that "based on our duty entrusted to us by laws and regulations in organizing the media sector, preventing violations, and deterring those who contravene national values and public morals, and considering the violation of broadcasting regulations by MBC satellite channel through its repeated transgressions and its affront to the martyrs, the leaders of victory, and the heroic resistance leaders who are fighting a battle of honor against the usurping Zionist entity."

 
The statement added, "We confirm the adoption of all necessary legal measures and the suspension of its operations in Iraq, and we direct the executive body in our authority to revoke the work permit granted to it."
