The Iraqi parliamentary delegation, headed by the Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, arrived in the Swiss capital (Geneva) to participate in the 149th session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union from October 12-17, 2024, and the emergency meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

 
The files on Palestine and Zionist aggressions against Lebanon and neighboring countries are at the forefront of discussions by the Iraqi delegation, which included several heads and members of parliamentary committees, to participate in the meetings of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the emergency meeting of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, in addition to discussing regulations governing artificial intelligence.
