Pope Francis called on Sunday for "respect" for the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, after at least five UNIFIL personnel were injured in recent days due to being targeted by the Israeli occupation army in southern Lebanon.
The Pope said, "I am close to all the people involved—Palestine, Israel, Lebanon, where I ask for respect for the United Nations peacekeeping forces."
