A Jewish teacher in Toronto, Canada, was shot at for the second time in a few months on Saturday, without causing any injuries, amid a rise in anti-Semitic acts in Canada since the outbreak of the war in Gaza.
Agence France-Presse reported that shortly after 4 a.m., gunfire was directed "from a vehicle" at the "Bais Chaya Mushka" girls' elementary school in the North York neighborhood in the northern part of the city.
A similar incident targeted the same building last May, as the police tried to determine if the two incidents were connected.
There was no one inside the school, and there were no reports of injuries, according to a spokesperson for the city police.
The incident occurred while the Jewish community was celebrating Yom Kippur, the holiest of Jewish holidays.
