The High Electoral Commission in Iraq announced that the election campaign period will definitively end at midnight on October 15, and it will not be extended under any circumstances.

 
In an official statement, Imad Jamil, head of the media team at the commission, clarified that "the legal deadline for electoral campaigning is set at 48 hours before the start of the polling process," pointing out that "the commission is committed to applying this timing precisely according to the law."

 
Jamil confirmed that "political parties and entities are obligated to adhere to this timeline and not violate it, emphasizing the necessity of following the Commission's instructions to avoid potential penalties."

 
He pointed out that "the electoral campaigns must completely stop by midnight on October 15," confirming "there will be no extension of the deadline."

 
It is worth mentioning that the sixth session of the Kurdistan Region Parliament elections is scheduled to take place on the 20th of this month.
