U.S. President Joe Biden announced on Tuesday that Washington is ready to assist Israel in facing Iranian missile attacks.

This statement came just minutes after Iran launched a missile attack, reportedly involving ballistic and hypersonic missiles targeting locations within Israel.

For his part, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich stated, "Iran will regret this moment just as Gaza, Hezbollah, and the state of Lebanon have."
