Minister of Interior Abdul Amir al-Shammari announced that the ministry has received the first batch of armored vehicles produced by the Military Industry factories.


On Monday, Minister of Interior Abdul Amir al-Shammari announced that the ministry has received the first batch of armored vehicles produced by the Military Industry factories. He noted that these vehicles will be distributed among the Rapid Response Division and tactical units in the provinces and confirmed that there are more than 10 contracts with the Military Industry Authority.

Al-Shammari stated, "As part of the contracts signed between the Ministry of Interior and the Military Industry Authority, the ministry will receive the first batch of our contract for the purchase of armed armored vehicles." He explained that "these vehicles will be equipped for the Rapid Response Division and tactical units in the provinces for internal security duties."

He added that "these vehicles underwent numerous tests by joint technical committees from the ministry and the Military Industry Authority, proving their efficiency and providing protection, firepower, maneuverability, and good communications." He emphasized that "we are determined to continue working with the Military Industry Authority to finalize contracts for armored vehicles, weapons, and equipment."

He indicated that "there are more than 10 contracts between the Ministry of Interior and the Military Industry Authority," noting, "We will continue to support the authority to meet all the needs of the Ministry of Interior for this equipment."
