The Rafah crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt has been reopened after more than three weeks of closure, according to Cairo News Channel. The crossing is now operating in both directions, allowing Palestinians to travel to Egypt for medical treatment and enabling the return of patients from Gaza. The Israeli side approved the passage of 8 patients accompanied by 17 escorts through the World Health Organization. The closure coincided with the start of the joint Israeli‑U.S. attack on Iran on February 28.
