The State of Law Coalition announced that it will not attend the presidential election session scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, supporting its postponement in light of what it described as “fundamental disagreements” among the forces and components of the political process.
The coalition’s spokesperson, Hisham al‑Rikabi, said the decision comes “out of a belief in the need to create a positive atmosphere that ensures responsible outcomes serving the country’s interests,” noting that proceeding with the session amid the current differences may not achieve sufficient political consensus.
