Trump stated, "We have received a 10‑point proposal from Iran, and we believe it is a practical basis for negotiation. Almost all previous points of disagreement have already been resolved, and this period will allow the agreement to be activated and signed.”

This step comes after the U.S. administration received an Iranian draft containing key provisions that the White House views as workable for ending the long‑standing conflict between Washington and Tehran.

Trump indicated that the 14‑day period would be sufficient to arrange the technical and logistical details before officially announcing the terms of the historic settlement.
