U.S. President Donald Trump said that “tonight may be one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the world,” adding that Iran may witness major developments.

He noted that “47 years of extortion and corruption may come to an end,” speaking of the possibility of a “complete and sweeping change in the Iranian system,” describing what may happen as “something that could be remarkable and revolutionary,” despite stressing that he does not wish for that to occur.
