Mr. Rayan Al‑Kildani, head of the Babylon Movement, took part in the State Administration Coalition meeting held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, with the attendance of several political leaders to discuss developments in both domestic and regional affairs.

The participants affirmed their firm rejection of any violation that undermines Iraq’s sovereignty or targets state institutions. They emphasized their support for governmental and judicial measures aimed at strengthening security and stability, and condemned the attacks that targeted diplomatic missions, security forces, and vital facilities, while offering condolences to the families of the martyrs.

For his part, Al‑Kildani praised the national role of the Iraqi judiciary, its support for the political system, its commitment to implementing the constitution, preserving democratic achievements, and striving to uphold social justice.

The coalition also commended the efforts of the Council of Representatives in advancing constitutional processes, stressing the importance of the April 11 session to elect the President of the Republic, and the need to proceed with national entitlements to end the political deadlock.

The leaders present at the meeting extended their congratulations to the Iraqi people on the national team’s qualification for the 2026 World Cup. They also offered their greetings on the occasion of the Akitu Festival, highlighting the significance of this celebration in reflecting Iraq’s deep civilizational heritage and its cultural and historical diversity.
